Lake to the south

June 24 - 25, 2011, Friday & Saturday - When Chad arrived home from work we headed to spend some time with Mom and Dad at their lake, Badin Lake. Shortly after arriving we decided to all go play putt-putt. The kids had a lot of fun. During our putt-putting Mom talked to Cory on the phone and got the update from him about his house hunting in VA. He saw 5 houses today and I think 8 more tomorrow. We are all praying that he finds the right house for their family.
Saturday we took a boat ride and asked the kids if they wanted to try to knee board. They wanted to try and so I explained to them how to do it. Nathan went first and HE DID IT! He pulled himself up and adjusted the strap and did it. He looked like he was having fun! He did it a few times and then it was Brittany's turn. Can you believe it? She pulled herself right up too! We are so proud of them. 9 and 6 years old learning how to knee board - that is fantastic! Way to go kids!
