June 10, 2009, Wednesday - Today all the 1st graders had their end of year Class Parties. Nathan went to a Preschool Camp at church. Chad and I were able to join Brittany. We had pizza, fruit and pink
lemonade. The kids were really excited. After eating, the kids then rotated between 4 craft stations and face painting. I helped the kids with making little wooden bunnies. They all seemed to have a fun time. I can't believe that Brittany's 1st grade year is coming to a close. I remember this time last year at the
Kindergarten party & thinking how much she has grown physical and
intellectually. Brittany we are so proud of you and how far you have come and how much you have learned this year! We are looking forward to doing some fun things with you this summer. We love you!
June 14 - 21, 2009 We had a fabulous week in Florida on vacation. We went to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach. Macie, our really good friend got to come with us. The kids had a great time all week playing together and meeting their favorite Disney characters. One day we also got to visit with my aunt and uncle in Longboat Key and we had a great time on the pontoon boat and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. We also visited Gatorland in Orlando where my mother use to work years ago. That was fun too. We had a wonderful week and many memories were made that will last a lifetime.
