Updated Bathroom
October 21, 2011 - Friday - The kid's bathroom paint was looking a little bad. It was actually changing from periwinkle to light pink. So we decided it was time to update! The ceiling was the same color as the walls so we decided to turn it back to white. Check out the amazing transformation!

Pumpkin Patch
October 15, 2011, Saturday -We made our 7th Annual Trip to the Jamestown Pumpkin Patch. This time was extra special because for the first time we got to bring daddy along. Once we were there daddy was all about finding the right pumpkin, paying and heading out. He didn't realize that this is more like a field trip than just a buying decision. Once we explained that we look around, get pictures, search for pumpkins, check out the gourds, little pumpkins, hay bales, photo opportunities with wooden cut out signs, more pictures, then daddy relaxed a little more and enjoyed the moment. It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for finding a pumpkin. We love fall!

Goalie?
October 15, 2011, Saturday - Surprise, surprise.....Uncle Cameron showed up to Nathan's game all the way from Portsmouth, VA. That was a neat surprise! Today ICE played the Cobras. The score ended up 2-3. We lost. Chase made our 2 goals. Nathan was put in as goalie for the first and only time all season. He had no training, but did his best. Way to go, Nathan!

Lego Fest
October 8, 2011, Saturday - Bright and early we headed off to Lego Fest in Raleigh today. The lego tour is coming to 5 US cities. We were all so excited. Brittany has been into legos for awhile now and saves up her money to buy sets. Nathan enjoyed the lego store in Orlando & likes playing with the bucket of pieces he got there.
Once they let the rope down and we enter the convention center there was 3 acres of hands-on activities & entertainment. We signed the kids up for the 9:30 Lego Masters Academy. They learned some tips & got to build a space ship. There was just so much to do. The Lego company really did a great job with this family event. I took 79 pictures. Here are a few for you to enjoy!

39th Annual Fall Festival
October 1, 2011, Saturday - We started off the day with Nathan's soccer game. They played the Cobras and we won 5-3. Then we followed Mom and Dad & picked up Grandma at the church yard sale & headed to the Fall Festival. We had a change in weather for today. In the middle 60's and we had been having 80's. We headed right to the barbecue sandwich line. Had some lunch and the kids played in the rocks at the old courthouse. The crowds we not too bad. We were expecting them to be worse since we were arriving later in the day. Found Dario's Philippians pork-ka-bobs. They were delicious. $2 a stick. Enjoyed looking at the craft booths. Nathan got a Tektite and Brittany got a cross shaped gem for a necklace. We had a fun Saturday.

It's a Win
September 26, 2011, Monday - Nathan had his second soccer game tonight. I am happy to report that they won 6-3. Nathan ended up scoring 2 goals and 1 great assist to his fellow player...passing the ball to him & then he made a score. Great game Nathan! You are getting into the groove now. Practice, Practice, Practice!

This picture didn't turn out too well, but I took it right after Nathan kicked the ball right in. The ball is in the far left corner of the goal and you can see the goalie (yellow shirt) turning to go after the ball.
